Onnenranta - presentation

Onnenranta is located on east shore of the clean lake. Villa's own shore is more than 100 metres long. You have an exellent opportunity to enjoy nature without distruction.
 The shore is shallow with hard bottom which make it suitable for children to swim. Long and firm dock enables you to dip in the lake from the end of the dock.
 If you like fishing, the lake's fish stocks is perch, pike, pike perch, vendace, eel and burbot.

Homey villa lies on spacious garden plot. Buildings are single storey and the plot is flat without stairs. The courtyard is peaceful and sunny. All buildings are used all year round.

The property is next to nature reserve area. You are allowed to pick berries and mushrooms from forests.

Main building

Main building designed by architect Erkki Wegelius was built in 1970 and renovated 2005.
 This brick house is spacious with large windows that bring the light inside.
 There are modern necessary facilities that ensure your holiday runs smoothly.

Lakeside sauna

Lakeside sauna was built in 2006. Its wood-heated sauna is the most relaxing experience any time during the day. We will help you to get acquainted with Finnish sauna tradition. 
After you have warmed yourself up in the heat of sauna, you can easily walk from sauna to the pier along wooden path and have a swim in the lake. In the winter it is possible to dip in an ice hole. Or  you can rent the hot tub by the lake and relax in its warm water.

If you visit Onnenranta during the summer time you might like to sit and admire the view to the lake from sunbathing terrace or beach swing.

Guest house

Guest house lies near the main building. In this atmospheric log house you can stay overnight all year round.

Lapland hut

The hut is decorated on Lappish style with reindeer fleece and coal-heated barbecue. Light some candles and enjoy your evening by grilling in the hut with your family and friends.

You can use Lapland hut all year round.

Grill shelter

Grill shelter with gas grill / barbecue is next to the main building opposite the kitchen back door. You can easily walk along wooden path from kitchen to the grill shelter.

Summer hut

The cot is in the front yard next to trampoline and childrens' play hut.

Boathouse

 Take your family and friends for a rowing trip on the lake. There are 2 lifejackets for children and 2 for adults. If you need more, please ask for extra ones. The lenght of the lake is 5 km and the width 1 km. There are also canoe (canadian).

Activities for children

Shallow beach is ideal for small children to play and swim in the water. In addition we have a trampoline, 3 frisbee golf baskets, a football goal, sand pit, childrens' play hut (the yellow hut), and games.
